  • What happened?
  • Where in the SquareEyes iPad application did it happen?
  • Please give us details of the steps that you did before it crashed?
  • Can you replicate it?

SquareEyes Account


Q:

I forgot my SquareEyes password?

A:

Please use the 'reset password' button in the Settings panel, that should send an email to the email address you setup. Follow the instructions on this email. If you have any issues please email a bug call to us.


Q:

I can't login into SquareEyes?

A:

The messages in the SquareEyes Application for the response should tell you if your username or password isn't correct. Please reset your password if you can't remember the password.


Q:

I can't remember my SquareEyes username?

A:

If the fields in the Settings panel are blank we suggestion that you fill out those correctly and hit the 'create an account' and follow the prompts.


Q:

I can't log into Facebook?

A:

If you have forgotten any of your Facebook details you need to go to the Facebook site and sort it out there. We can't help you there sorry! If you get a big ugly message after a successful login please note the message of doom and email a bug call.

Q:

When I login into Facebook I get "Operation could not complete"?

A:

If you have incorrectly added you details sometimes this comes up. Yes it is ugly, try closing the window panel and try logining in again. If nothing works please email a bug call.

Q:

When I add my Facebook account the Facebook Channel appears blank?

A:

Do you have video content on your Facebook wall or from Friends? (Not going to ask if you have any friends of course). If you have a huge number of possible videos to feed to the app, our servers may take a while to process through these. If nothing happens after a while and you think it is a bug please email a bug call.


SquareEyes Application


Q:

The lattice doesn't seem to load the images, it appears stalled?

A:

We have done a lot to try to optimise the Lattice and we are sure there is more we can do. If you have a huge number of channels and are scrolling left and right a lot, sometimes you need to let the redrawing of the content to settle. Of course if it breaks or you think it is a bug please email a bug call.

Q:

I was pinch zooming in and out rapidly in the Lattice or/and Channel and it crash? I also did that while spinning my iPad around. It just crashed!

A:

We did a lot of bash testing to make the Application as robust as possible but strange things can happen. If at any stage the application crashes we want to know. Please read these questions and then email a bug call. Thank you.
